The Robert M. Rodrigues Fund “Community Impact” Awards
A Funded Project Will Satisfy the Following
Make a meaningful impact on a population(s) that has been impacted by COVID-19 and/or the associated school, business, community center, etc. closures.
Present a realistic timeline for completion.
Be well thought out, including clearly identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
Include a realistic budget that lists the items you intend to purchase with the award, how many of each you will be purchasing, and how much will be spent on each category. (Example project: Feed animals at a local shelter. Example budget item: Purina Friskies Canned Wet Cat Food 40 count (off of Amazon), 2 packs, total cost $40.96.)
Identify benchmarks to measure the impact of your project.
Have an adult supervising the project to ensure student safety and a teacher serving as an advisor in case of project obstacles.
The Board of The Robert M. Rodrigues Fund will carry out the selection process. The committee will review the applications and select that year’s winner(s). The committee is looking for well-thought-out answers. The Board will announce the winning project(s) on Facebook on May 18, 2020.
